Recruited by current Head Coach Ernie Merrick Jess's task will be to recruit, develop and accelerate players though to the first team. Already there's been great progress with Alex Rufer signing a 3 year professional contract from the academy into the first team.

The initial intake is 18 elite players that have been recruited from not only New Zealand but also Mexico, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong to name but a few.

Players will go to one of the most respected private schools in New Zealand, Scots College as well taking part in a full-time holistic residential academy.
